Mathwright Library and Cafe
The Mathwright Library (by subscription) is a growing collection of interactive, electronic mathematics and science WorkBooks and Microworlds for high school and college students. The Math Cafe has some of these WorkBooks as free demonstrations. They are multi-page dynamic mathematical explorations that put you in the drivers seat, let you ask your own questions, and let you learn at your own pace as they unfold their stories to you. For their WorkBooks you will need to download a free player.  Microworlds requires Active-X enabled browser (Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher).

Check out these short video clips from my favorite band - Rockabilly.US. They play oldies, Elvis, country, and top hits of the 50s and 60s. It's a show with large band, costumes, choreography, little skits, "Kid Kritters", 6 dancing/singing girls, junior dancer troupe, etc.

Most importantly, the band wants to use the uplifting and energetic music to bring some fun, happiness and encouragement into people's lives. They're doing it selflessly to help others, and don't get paid for any of it themselves. And I admire that!
